Essay on the topic “A teacher through the eyes of children. Essay "a metropolitan teacher through the eyes of a modern teacher" Essay on the topic of a teacher through the eyes of a child

on the topic: "Teacher as a person"

We said in childhood: “A teacher is a second mother”... Our associations with school, with learning, largely depend on the first teacher. The image of the first teacher is perceived differently by everyone, since everyone’s first teachers were different. Some people still remember their fear of a teacher because that teacher was too strict or too demanding of discipline. And someone remembers their first teacher with a smile on their face, because this person only has good memories of their first teacher. Perhaps because the teacher was very positive and never raised his voice at the children. And some people do not remember their first teacher, perhaps because their first teachers did nothing to create a friendly class or simply give knowledge to children. Perhaps there was nothing noticeable in their activities that could remain in the memory of the students. teacher student school class

I think the teacher plays a significant role in laying down the fundamental character traits in us. For example, sociability is a character trait that manifests itself as a result of classmates working with each other. Even our attitude towards learning depends on how the teacher himself relates to this subject. If a teacher loves his subject, it means that it is in his interests to show originality in relation to his subject, and as a result of this, students show interest in this subject. In my opinion, a person who is engaged in teaching can be different in life, but when he comes to school or university, he should forget about all his problems and everything that is outside the educational institution. Crossing the threshold of an educational institution, this person must change for a while and show maximum patience. One of the main keys to a teacher's success is calmness. If the teacher is calm, then, firstly, it is good for him - he saves his nerves, and, secondly, it is good for the students - they are not aggressive. When a teacher quietly and calmly conducts a lesson, it forces the students to listen and thus they do not make noise in the class. The teacher, to some extent, must be a robot, because it is undesirable for him to show sympathy for a particular student. I think a teacher should not have favorites and non-favorites. This affects relationships among classmates. Let's say one student is jealous of another student because one of them is the teacher's favorite.

Students respect teachers who show respect for students themselves. Teachers who have extensive experience and are professionals in their field are perceived by students as great personalities.

Teaching is one of the most difficult professions. A teacher becomes a person when he realizes the full significance of his profession and, most importantly, when he truly begins to love his subject and his students.

Primary school teacher of the complex "Kindergarten - Primary School No. 26" Nurbika Bulatovna Baybusinova

“A teacher is forever!”

The first teacher is forever!

For 20 years now my life has been dedicated to school, I am a primary school teacher - this is a special profession.

Why did I choose the difficult and sometimes thankless profession of a teacher?

I wanted to be a teacher from the first grade, when I saw my first teacher Natalya Bronislavovna. She was the most beautiful, the kindest, the smartest for us. The image of my first teacher influenced my choice of profession. She studied well at school and went in for sports (athletics, volleyball, basketball). And after graduating from school, I entered the Shchuchin Pedagogical College (Shchuchin Pedagogical College) as a primary school teacher.

Now I'm not just a teacher. I am the first teacher. I am the first teacher who enters the life of a child and family. Parents trust me with the most precious thing they have - their children. There is probably not a single parent who is not worried about how his child will study at school, what kind of relationships will develop with the teacher, with peers. And it depends on me, the first teacher, how parents will feel about school, whether they will become faithful associates, like-minded people. For many years I will be present in the family of every student. And perhaps I will become a good family friend for life. How can I not lose the trust that my students and their parents so generously give me?

What is a modern teacher like?

Intelligent? Absolutely, because our profession belongs to this category of people.

Communicative? Naturally, one of the most important qualities of a teacher.

Optimist? Yes, how to live in our modern era without faith in the best.

Reflecting on what a modern metropolitan teacher should be like, I come to the conclusion that all these qualities have been and remain a distinctive feature of a teacher at all times. I think that a teacher must respect the self-esteem of each student under all circumstances. We must deeply respect, trust and sincerely love children, and be careful about their feelings.

What has changed in teachers since my childhood? And what changes are still ahead of them?

No profession is as dependent on time as teaching. This question remains relevant, since, naturally, the state and society change over time, which means that the requirements placed on the teacher by the state and society change. I understand what high demands are placed on the outcome of education today. The state needs to improve and strengthen the status of teachers in every possible way, both social and financial, because our salaries are small, there is no proper respect for teachers’ work, and there is a large amount of extracurricular work. I propose to assist in expanding our life framework for further human and professional growth.

“Teaching is a delicate job.
He is a sculptor, he is an artist, he is a creator.
Shouldn't make a single mistake,
After all, man is the crown of labor.”

Changes taking place in the country and society place new demands on the modern teacher. What is he like, a modern teacher? It is perhaps difficult to answer this question unambiguously.

This is a person who is able to create conditions for the development of creative abilities, develop in students the desire for creative perception of knowledge, teach them to think independently, and encourage their individual inclinations and talents.
A modern teacher combines love for his work and for his students; he knows how to not only teach children, but is also able to learn from his students.

A modern teacher must identify the best qualities inherent in the soul of every child, encourage children so that they receive joy from acquired knowledge, so that, after finishing school, they are clearly aware of their place in society and can work for its benefit, and are ready to participate in solving current and future problems of our society. A modern teacher is a professional.

The distinctive features of a modern teacher, a master teacher, are constant self-improvement, self-criticism, erudition and a high work culture.

For a modern teacher, it is very important to never stop there, but to move forward, because the work of a teacher is an excellent source for limitless creativity.

“Don't limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to only what they think they can do. You can achieve so much more. You just have to believe in what you are doing” (Mary Kay Ash).

For a modern teacher, his profession is an opportunity for self-realization, a source of satisfaction and recognition.
A modern teacher, in my opinion, is a young, energetic, self-sufficient and confident person in himself and in the future.

This is a personality, because only a personality can educate another personality - the personality of a modern schoolchild, which is the main task of a modern school. Even K.D. Ushinsky wrote that “only personality can act on the development and definition of personality, only character can character be formed.” The influence of the teacher’s personality is the life-giving force thanks to which everything good and useful grows in the souls of students.

A teacher should be characterized by honesty, prudence, tact, openness, responsibility, hard work, perseverance, determination, initiative, self-respect, pride, and the desire for self-improvement. However, all these qualities must be combined with love for children, which often borders on dedication, and sometimes even self-sacrifice. Love for children necessarily presupposes tolerance and respect for them, tact, emotional culture of the teacher and responsiveness. It is all this that underlies professional skill, the basis of pedagogical intuition that a modern teacher should have.

Humor is a saving, all-powerful and intelligent means of any rich personality. A warm smile, soft remarks, a gentle voice, a friendly gesture. This is the main weapon of a modern teacher, because in an atmosphere of excessive pathos, boredom and hostility, students feel uncomfortable. Let's remember the words of “that same Munchausen”: “A serious face is not yet a sign of intelligence, gentlemen. All stupid things on Earth are done with this expression. Smile, gentlemen, smile!” What else can you add?

A modern teacher is a person who is able to smile and be interested in everything that surrounds him, because the school is alive as long as the teacher in it is interesting to the child.

A modern teacher must learn to be happy. After all, an unhappy teacher will never raise a happy student. More than two thousand years ago, Socrates said: “There is a sun in every person, just let it shine.” And the teacher can give a piece of his warmth and love to his students.

The formula for success of a modern teacher can be represented as follows: love for children + inspiration + competence. And then recognition will come in the eyes of students, parents, colleagues and others.

At all times, the teacher has been and remains the most respected person. He is an example for everyone, a standard of good manners and education.

If every student feels warm and comfortable next to the teacher, if they help and support him, they rejoice at success, welcome initiative and truthfulness, heal the soul and warm the heart - the student will be glad to communicate with such a teacher.

Composition

Students... Teachers... Once upon a time, while studying at an institute in Leningrad, she wanted (or did it seem to me?) to give all the heat of her heart, all the beauty, depth, sublimity, greatness of literature to those who would come after, all the romanticism of her soul, everything happiness of life, being...

It was... Many years have passed since then. She became a real teacher. Each teacher has a different attitude towards students. What could be said about her?

There are many of them (or few?), and each is something very personal, different, unpredictable. Or maybe it is a large mass, a block without will and feeling, an iceberg that grows, remaining hidden under water?

No, probably not. What are literary concerts for then? Why the drama club, the endless arguments in class?
I used to think that she loved us more than her children. For what? For some reason this was always not understood. Children, small, strangers, each of them is the source of future life, the thought of each is the fate of the planet. The little teacher who came home late at night to make sure each of “her children” had a good time.

When she was just starting to teach us, I, it seems, peered into her face, trying to understand who she would be for me... I, apparently, have changed a lot since then, and now it’s strange to me why she loved us so much. Our “cool mom”, what’s her name?

someone once called...

It was like that before. And now? Maybe we've grown up, or maybe she's just taking too long to teach us? Her hair was dark brown, almost black. And somehow suddenly we discovered that she had turned grey, haggard, and shrunk. She continues to lead her cross, not allowing the thought that anyone is unworthy of such hard work, such dedication. In each of us, a particle of it is an inextinguishable particle of a truly great life.

I keep remembering the words that she recently said at Marina Tsvetaeva’s evening, after several guys, having listened to the sad story of her life, suddenly burst out laughing: “Still, among them there are several people who need it. If it weren't for them, we would all have left school a long time ago. This is the only thing that supports teachers.” In these words, Tatyana Alekseevna is all my favorite Teacher.

to stay put.
And if you want to get somewhere,
we have to run even faster."
Lewis Carroll "Alice in Wonderland"

A little time passed - and now “Daddy’s nose - Mommy’s eyes” with bows and a satchel behind her back is walking hand in hand with the first teacher.

September 1st is not the first in His life. But it is this first day of September that is so long-awaited and exciting: the first time in first grade. Happens only once in a lifetime. “What's next? What difficulties will you face? How to deal with them? Will I be able to?..” All doubts fade with the first bell. After all, His teacher is nearby...

With what ecstasy and delight the newly minted First-grader steps into the temple of knowledge... Without being lazy, ask why He is going to school. With the deepest sincerity, overflowing His entire immaculate being, looking you straight in the eyes, He, without a moment’s hesitation, will say that He is going to study...

He is the Man of the Future, and I am his new Teacher, and we will create at the New School, the school of success and health. The new school is a school of joy - the joy of joint creativity. This is both a small and huge world with its own internal routines and laws, with its own problems and achievements. By collaborating, we are creating a new world, but its renewal is impossible without a return to traditions, spirituality, and faith. Just as you cannot build a house without a foundation, so the New School cannot be deprived of the heritage of the best teachers in Russia, scientific knowledge, and psychological and pedagogical foundations. The demands placed on teachers by the state and society are changing. The question remains open which qualities of a teacher (or “competencies”) should be independent of time, and which ones are necessary for a teacher-educator in connection with the requirements of the “new” time.

“Sow what is reasonable, good, eternal, sow! The Russian people will say a heartfelt thank you to you” - these wonderful words of Nikolai Alekseevich Nekrasov have been the life credo of my dynasty for more than one hundred and seventy years.

I think that my great-grandmother, Elena Dmitrievna Lvova, teacher-teacher of natural science at the Smolny Institute of Noble Maidens, great-grandfather Grigory Vasilyevich Karpov, teacher at the men's gymnasium in Nizhny Novgorod, Lvova's grandmother - Elena Vladimirovna Karpova, chemistry teacher at the Nizhny Novgorod Agricultural College, grandfather Karpov Grigory Vasilyevich, a physics teacher who had a scientific degree - Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, a front-line soldier, my mother, Galina Grigorievna Dukhovskaya, who works as a chemistry teacher in secondary school No. 4 in the city of Lermontov, who has been devoting herself to children for over 50 years, inherited an invaluable teacher’s recipe. success - Kindness, Honesty, Sincerity, Justice, Dignity, Professionalism!

It seems to me that all my relatives created, created our New School, collecting and passing on the best heritage of the past bit by bit. What unites us is that we have all connected our lives with a noble cause - raising and educating children. Educating and instilling a love of knowledge is very difficult work.

And we, today's teachers, are not looking for the easy way. What can I do for the future today? What qualities can I add to my family teaching legacy?

New teacher? New school? What is this? According to the president, D.A. Medvedev, school “represents one of the defining and longest stages of every person’s life, and is decisive both for individual success and for the long-term development of the entire country.” In my opinion, a new school is a school where, first of all, the teachers themselves want and are eager to work. You can build a new building, equip it with the latest technology, hang up a “New School” sign, but...teacher.

For 22 years now my life has been devoted to school, I am a primary school teacher. The support at the state level is nice. “We will do everything to ensure that the teacher becomes a respected figure in society...” promised the President of the country. But you probably shouldn’t expect new teachers to come from somewhere. I believe that a New Teacher is a teacher of an interesting school community with interesting pedagogical ideas. He must be able to work with non-standard children; work in a problem field; The teacher must have enough psychological competence. Today, the teacher does not present ready-made truth, but teaches how to find it and develops the ability to think. He not only conveys the knowledge that he himself once received, but every time he shows when and where this information can be used. The teacher must teach to “settle on the heights” of life. A new teacher must be able to find a compromise between the realities of life and the requirements put forward by the standards. The school must prepare its students for a life that it itself does not yet know about. Therefore, it is important to provide the child with general cultural, personal and cognitive development, and equip him with the ability to learn.

In the 2010 standards, along with subject ones, there are personal ones (the student’s readiness and ability for self-development, the formation of motivation for learning, cognition, the choice of an individual educational path, value and semantic attitudes of students, reflecting their personal positions, social competencies; the formation of the foundations of civil identity) and meta-subject ones (universal learning activities mastered by students, ensuring mastery of key competencies that form the basis of the ability to learn and interdisciplinary concepts) results.

It is the meta-subject results that will be the bridges connecting all subjects, helping to overcome mountains of knowledge.

The goal of developing a meta-subject approach in education and, accordingly, meta-subject educational technologies is to solve the problem of disunity, fragmentation, isolation of different scientific disciplines and, as a consequence, academic subjects.

In the practice of education of primary school students, meta-subject technologies are increasingly used, included in subject teaching, which transforms the academic subjects themselves and the pedagogical style. And I am concerned with the question: “How can a primary school student develop a holistic understanding of the world around him?” This can be done specifically in primary school, using meta-subject teaching. Firstly, primary school teachers teach most subjects themselves and can move on to holistic teaching; secondly, children of this age have great potential for intellectual development. They can think in general terms if they are taught to do so.

It is the primary school teacher, as a universal specialist, who is able, when planning and organizing integrated educational activities in different subjects, to identify characteristic subject relationships, determine the necessary means of training and development of younger schoolchildren, and also design identical results of educational activities in several educational areas.

Today the goal is to teach the child to acquire knowledge himself, showing students the processes of developing scientific and practical knowledge. In fact, this is the main task of the new educational standards, which are designed to realize the developmental potential of education.

I want to realize my ideas to become a modern New School teacher.
Does the New School need me? I think yes, because:

Your students need it. Every day, every hour...

The parents of their students need me, because they entrusted me with the most precious thing - their beloved children. And it depends on me, the first teacher, how the child’s school life will turn out. It depends on me how parents will relate to school, whether they will become faithful associates and like-minded people. I'm not afraid to ask my parents for advice, we think together.

I need it for my colleagues, with whom I do my job every day, so difficult, but so necessary!

“School” translated from Latin means “stairs”, along the steps of which the student ascends. The teacher indicates the direction, and the student independently follows his own path. The teacher helps build this ladder for everyone, flat for some, steeper for others. Every day the eyes of my students look at me. The Future of Russia sits at the desks. And in this Future I have to live. And not only the life of the country, but mine too, depends on what these children become.

The first breath of air. The light from the lamps hurts my eyes unbearably. The first cry shakes the cold pallor of the perfectly whitewashed walls - a kind of greeting to the world: “I was born”... The trembling hands of a happy mother... A long-awaited miracle... Dad's nose, mother's eyes...

A little time will pass - and now “Daddy’s nose - Mommy’s eyes” with bows and a satchel on his back will go with the first teacher to the Future, to our New School!
