Tomsk State Architectural and Construction University is a modern scientific and educational complex, which is largely determining the strategy for the development of the construction industry Siberia. Tomsk State University Architectural and Construction is a modern university complex with the accession of the institution of secondary vocational education of the technical school of geodesy and cartography.

Tomsk State University Architectural and Construction (TGASU) is one of the leading construction universities in Siberia. In the period of the revolution and civil war, the educational institution in the walls of the building is first coming out of the level of Dusza to the state of the university: in Kolchakovsky time there is evacuated from the capital Academy of General Staff of the Russian Army, with the establishment of Soviet power - First Siberian Practical Polytechnic Institute.

To raise the prestige of Dzuzov, in 1923, in the framework of the reform of the country's technicalization, at the personal order of the People's Commissar of A. Lunacharsky, the educational institute was reorganized in First Siberian Polytechnic Technical Academy of Comrade K.A. Timiryazev. Apparently, the building of the 3rd corps of TGASU was built in 1937. This date used to be above the upper window of the vertical volume, which focuses the angular location of the building. However, the window opening also appeared later, before that was the coat of arms of the USSR.

Constructivism, post-constructivism and Stalinist neoclassicism are found in Tomsk extremely rarely (constructivism I, honestly, did not see at all).

The first and second corps of TGASU are already in the Makushin alley, and if the first is not noteworthy - the usual 4-history building of the Soviet building, decorated with silicate tiles, then the second or red body is a building with a rich history built by famous Siberian architects K. K. Lygina and A. D. Kryachkov. Here is the architectural faculty, created back in 1976.

The initial purpose of the second building TGASU - Tomsk Commercial School, opened in 1901 on the initiative of Tomsk merchants from the approval of the Ministry of Finance. The need for a similar educational institution arose at the beginning of the twentieth century due to the active industrial development of Siberia, which followed the construction of the Trans-Siberian highway. The building for the commercial school was built on the project of the Tomsk architect K. K. Lygin in 1902-1904. The building had large and bright drawing and drawing classes, an assembly and gymnasium, a library, a natural science museum, a physical and chemical laboratory, a kitchen, two tables and recreational premises for recreation students on change.

In 1912, a commercial school was reorganized into the 1st Siberian average Polytechnic School named after the Cesarevich Alexey. The new educational institution included three branches: commercial, mountainous and land. An increase in the number of curriculum demanded new areas, therefore, in 1913-1914, an extension was performed on the project of architect A. D. Kryachkova. The building of the Commercial School is a monument to the architecture of regional importance.

At different times, a Czechoslovak Hospital, the All-Russian Academy of the General Staff of the White Army, the All-Russian Academy of General Staff, the Polytechnic Department of the Tomsk Working Institute of Practical Knowledge (since 1923, the first Siberian Polytechnic Technical School. K.A. Timiryazev, disbanded in 1930 .), Tomsk Mukombot-Elevator Institute. I.S. Lobacheva. During the war, Tomsk was evacuated by the "Electrobody", on the basis of which Tomkabel, whose shops were organized and occupied the premises of the commercial school until 1952, when the building was transferred to the Tomsk Institute for the preparation of engineers for the construction of elevator, the future TGASU.

I managed to watch layouts made at different times by students of the department "Architectural Design" and listen to a fragment of protecting the graduation project in the specialty "Design of the Architectural Environment". In the photo above it was lined up a whole city from the diploma projects of students. To look at the layouts, it was especially interesting, as in NGAha for several years ago the requirement for the production of layout during courses and thesis design was canceled. When I was a student, I sighed lightweight, after all, it was always missing, and then the layout ... but now it sometimes seems to me that, maybe in vain canceled: still a layout somewhat differently reveals the features of the project, rather than Computer visualization. In general, maquetting is a whole art.
