Thus, the main goal of the journal is achieved - the publication of good-quality scientific materials, which are of interest to the global scientific community. The journal publishes original articles containing the results of fundamental and applied research, as well as reviews of leading logs on the subject of the magazine. In addition, we publish a brief (1-5 pages) of the reports in which new facts are given or new ideas that have theoretical foundations, but under which there are still not enough experimental data. On the pages of our publication, reviews for new books, as well as a chronicle of conferences, meetings and forums may be published.

The magazine was founded in 2002 to decide the Volga Association of State Classic Universities (PAGU).

Certificate of registration of the media: PI No. 77-13-929 of 11.11.2002. In 2003, the magazine was assigned the international issue of the ISSN 1728-628X periodicals.

The journal publishes original articles containing the results of scientific and applied activities in the field of natural, technical, public, humanitarian and medical sciences, as well as review articles on the subject of the journal. It also reflects the results of the newest scientific research In various fields of knowledge, analysis advanced technology and achievements of science and engineering practice.

The goal of the magazine is to submit the main scientific schools in the region, as well as to consolidate the efforts of scientists to solve topical scientific problems.

The editorial board exercising an independent examination of scientific articles consists of leading scientists of a number of regions of the Volga region.
