Features of the OGE in 2020

Since last year, 9th grade graduates have taken the mandatory oral part of the Russian language exam. The oral exam will be the first test for schoolchildren and at the same time a kind of admission to other exams. They plan to take the conversation in February (before the start of the preliminary and main campaigns).

In 2020, the following innovations from 2017 and 2020 will definitely remain:

  • speaking Russian;
  • oral part on the OGE in foreign languages;
  • uniform tickets in mathematics for all educational institutions and all regions of the Russian Federation;
  • mandatory video surveillance in the rooms where exams will be held.

In 2020, 9th grade students will take compulsory OGE subjects as well as elective disciplines based on their schools!

OGE schedule 2019

OGE schedule for 2020 will help not only ninth-graders, but also eighth-graders who have left whole year, to intensely engage with subjects.

Important! For many ninth-graders, the OGE will not just be the result of studying at high school, but also the first step towards the desired profession, because in 2020 exam grades will influence the certificate, and recommended passing scores have been established for specialized classes.

The final exams of the OGE grade 9 in 2020 will traditionally be held in three stages: early, main and additional. An additional stage takes place in September.

The OGE schedule in 2020 appears after the approval of the Ministry of Education law on a unified schedule for passing the state final certification. The draft OGE schedule for 2020 was published on December 17, 2020 on the website gia.edu.ru

The OGE for 9th grade graduates in 2020 will also be held in three stages: early - from April 22 to May 10, main - from May 25 to July 3 and additional (September) - from September 3 to 21.

The final version of the OGE schedule for 2020 was approved on December 17, 2020 and published on the official GIA website gia.edu.ru/ru/main/schedule_/schedule2019/

If you are finishing 9th grade and want to rationally plan your preparation schedule for exams and rest days for spring and early summer in 2020, focus on the official OGE schedule, which FIPI traditionally draws up in advance for all regions of the country.

The draft examination timetable for 9th grade will be released in late October or early November 2019. But today you can high degree probability of guessing when the interview will take place and on what dates the preliminary, main and September sessions of the OGE 2020 will take place.

Final interview

Speaking (the oral part of the 2020 OGE in the Russian language), as last year, will take place much earlier than the passing of other subjects.

For the 2019-2020 academic year, the final interview will take place on Wednesday 02/12/20.

Since speaking is an admission to the main session of the OGE, ninth-graders will receive two additional attempts on March 11 or 12 and at the very beginning of May.

Change oral exam– an important step for every graduate. Although the speaking tasks are quite simple, and the final interview is assessed on a pass/fail basis, for many ninth-graders this is an exciting event, because it marks the beginning of the most difficult period of the year, the main dates of which are collected in the OGE 2020 schedule.

By analogy with the Unified State Exam, the Mandatory State Exam, which ninth-graders must take, is divided into three sessions:

  • preliminary (April 21 - May 16);
  • main (May 25 – July 1);
  • autumn programs (September 4 – September 18).

Preliminary session

Graduates of 2019 who showed unsatisfactory results in one or more subjects and wish to retake the exam, as well as graduates of the 2019-2020 academic year who, for good reason, will not be able to come to the OGE in tribute, which establishes official schedule of the main session.

Important! A valid reason must be supported by an official document, which must be attached to the application addressed to the director of the educational institution. These include: participation in away competitions or competitions, planned treatment, etc.

The schedule for the early period of the OGE 2020 will be as follows:

Having successfully retaken the exam in September, you will still have time to submit documents to various colleges, and it is even possible to enroll in budget place, if there is a shortage in the faculty.

Deadlines for appeals OGE-2020

If you do not agree with the assigned points and grades for the exam, if you found an error when checking your work, you should definitely try to win back your points on appeal.

What needs to be done for this?

Within two working days (Saturday also counts) you need to come to your school and submit an appeal about disagreement with the points awarded. The school will help you draw up this document correctly, and will also transfer all the necessary information to the Conflict Commission. You will then be given a date and time for your appeal.

How to prepare for an appeal?

It is imperative to discuss all the weak points of your work with your teacher. He will indicate where you can try to insist on increasing your points. But remember: assignments with short answer appeals will not be considered, and draft entries will not be taken into account.

And one more thing: the number of previously assigned points after you go through the appeal procedure may change either upward or downward (if an error/errors that were not noticed by the experts are identified).

Lancman School OGE courses wish you good luck in your exams! If you need to appeal the results, our teachers will help you analyze the work and accompany you with a notarized power of attorney to the appeal itself.
